- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 (14 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the meatball mixture by combining ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Set the Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode and add olive oil. Brown meatballs for about 3 minutes on each side. Remove from pot and set aside.
- Add crushed tomatoes, remaining minced garlic, and Italian seasoning to the pot; stir well.
- Break spaghetti in half and layer it over the sauce. Nestle the browned meatballs on top.
- Pour in 2 cups of water (or broth), close the lid securely, and set to high pressure for 8 minutes.
- After cooking, allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes before carefully venting any remaining steam. Stir gently before serving.
