Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 (14 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meatball mixture by combining ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Set the Instant Pot to 'Sauté' mode and add olive oil. Brown meatballs for about 3 minutes on each side. Remove from pot and set aside.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, remaining minced garlic, and Italian seasoning to the pot; stir well.
  4. Break spaghetti in half and layer it over the sauce. Nestle the browned meatballs on top.
  5. Pour in 2 cups of water (or broth), close the lid securely, and set to high pressure for 8 minutes.
  6. After cooking, allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes before carefully venting any remaining steam. Stir gently before serving.
