  • 2 lbs Russet Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 cups Shredded Gruyère Cheese

  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Slice peeled russet potatoes to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  4. Layer half the potato slices in the baking dish, pour half the cream mixture over them, and sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeat layers ending with cheese on top.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
