  • 2 cups Great Northern Beans (soaked overnight)
  • 4 slices thick-cut Bacon
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. Sauté diced onions in the same skillet until soft.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine soaked beans, crumbled bacon, sautéed onions, brown sugar, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and mustard; stir well.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for about 1 hour.
  6. Remove foil during the last 15 minutes for caramelization.
