Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Gather and chop all ingredients.
  2. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  3. Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and sear the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Gradually mix in grated Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  5. Slice rested chicken and return it to the skillet with cooked pasta. Toss everything together until well-coated with sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan or parsley if desired.
