Ingredients
- 8 slices rye bread
- 2 cups corned beef, sliced
- 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Layer half of the rye bread on the bottom of the dish. Add half of the corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese.
- Drizzle half of the Thousand Island dressing over the layers. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Spread leftover dressing on top and dot with butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
