  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt until smooth.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the slow cooker. Add lasagna noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and one-third of the mozzarella.
  4. Repeat layers: more marinara sauce, noodles, remaining ricotta mixture, ground beef, and another third of mozzarella. Finish with a final layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
