- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt until smooth.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the slow cooker. Add lasagna noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and one-third of the mozzarella.
- Repeat layers: more marinara sauce, noodles, remaining ricotta mixture, ground beef, and another third of mozzarella. Finish with a final layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
