Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 9 oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), chopped
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add chopped bell peppers and onion to the skillet; sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce. Layer with lasagna noodles, half of the beef mixture, and some mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
