  • 1 cup fresh mulberries
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 3 tablespoons honey (or sugar to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot. Once boiling, add the black tea bags and steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and stir in honey until dissolved; adjust sweetness as desired.
  3. Rinse mulberries under cool water, then mash slightly in a bowl to release their juices.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine cooled tea, mashed mulberries, and lemon juice. Stir well.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mulberry mixture over the ice.
  6. Garnish with whole mulberries and lemon slices if desired. Serve immediately.
