  • Add bomba or arborio rice to the skillet; stir for about 2 minutes to toast and enhance flavors.
  • Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, adding saffron threads, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until the rice absorbs most of the liquid.
  • Gently stir in shrimp, mussels, and peas. Cover and cook until the shrimp turns pink and mussels open, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove from heat; let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
