Instructions
How to Make Crispy Dill Pickle Bread Sandwich
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread a layer of shredded cheddar cheese evenly about 1/4 inch thick.
Top the cheese with thinly sliced dill pickles, distributing them evenly.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow it to cool slightly. Once cool, cut the crispy cheese and pickle mixture into square 'bread' slices for assembly.
Layer your sandwich by placing deli sliced ham, turkey, thin tomato slices, and romaine lettuce between two cheese-pickle slices.
Dig in immediately to savor that crunch and medley of flavors!
Notes
For an extra burst of flavor, garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
