How to Make Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake

  • Prepare the Crockpot: Grease the inside of your crockpot with nonstick spray or butter.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: Add milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry mixture and stir gently.
  • Transfer Batter: Pour the batter into the greased crockpot, spreading it evenly.
  • Prepare Topping: Mix together brown sugar and cocoa powder, then sprinkle over the batter.
  • Add Water: Pour hot water over the back of a spoon onto the layered mixture.
