Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 1 batch Pizza Dough homemade or store-bought

For the Garlic Butter

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter melted, can substitute with dairy-free spread
  • 3 cloves Fresh Minced Garlic fresh preferred, garlic powder can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder adjust to taste

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese or nutritional yeast for dairy-free
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley dried herbs can be substituted
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil optional but recommended

Instructions

Making the Garlic Knots

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, and garlic powder in a bowl. Stir until well mixed.
  • Shape the pizza dough into knots, dusting hands with flour if sticky.
  • Arrange knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with garlic butter.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden-brown.
  • Cool for a few minutes before serving.
