How to Make Marry Me Pork Chops

  • Prep Ingredients: Mix garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mince garlic cloves, chop sun-dried tomatoes, and grate Parmesan cheese. Pat pork chops dry, coat with the seasoning mix, then dredge in flour.
  • Sear Pork Chops: Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Create the Sauce: Lower heat to medium, sauté minced garlic and Italian seasoning in the same pan until fragrant. Sprinkle reserved flour into the pan and stir to create a roux.
  • Deglaze Skillet: Add white wine and chicken stock, scraping the browned bits off the bottom. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Finish the Sauce: Slowly stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese until smooth. Return pork chops and simmer an additional 5-6 minutes until cooked through.
  • Serve and Garnish: Plate pork chops and drizzle creamy sauce. Garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Optional: Pair with extra Parmesan for added richness.
