Ingredients

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground turkey/chicken for lighter version
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs or gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese can be omitted for dairy-free
  • 1/4 cup Parsley or fresh basil/oregano
  • 1 large Egg or flaxseed meal for egg-free version
  • 2 cloves Garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning or Herbes de Provence

For Serving

  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce homemade or store-bought
  • 8 oz Pasta or Subs for serving

Instructions

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.
  • Heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring in a bit of olive oil.
  • Serve the meatballs with the marinara sauce over pasta or in a sub.
