  • 1 bunch Swiss chard (about 1 lb), stems removed and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter for greasing and cooking
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Wash the Swiss chard, remove stems, and chop leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add chopped chard, salt, and pepper; cook until wilted (about 4 minutes).
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream with half of the Gruyère cheese. Stir in the sautéed chard until well combined.
  5. Pour mixture into the greased baking dish. Top with remaining Gruyère and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
