- 1 bunch Swiss chard (about 1 lb), stems removed and chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter for greasing and cooking
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Wash the Swiss chard, remove stems, and chop leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add chopped chard, salt, and pepper; cook until wilted (about 4 minutes).
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream with half of the Gruyère cheese. Stir in the sautéed chard until well combined.
- Pour mixture into the greased baking dish. Top with remaining Gruyère and sprinkle Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
